Clinical Education Specialist—OSA products
This position will be responsible for providing training and clinical support to the Client's Homecare/OSA field sales team, specializing in the Client’s OSA products.
The candidate must have at least 5 years verifiable clinical experience as a registered respiratory therapist working in a successful Home Medical Equipment Company; hospital experience considered a plus!
The Clinical Education Specialist will be responsible for providing clinical product training to the sales team and to external clinical/non-clinical stakeholders; develop presentations on the Client’s products and their clinical applications to present at present at educational conferences and trade shows; act as a clinical liaison between the customer and the sales organization; develop and maintain exceptional relationships with Key Opinion Physicians and Leaders.
Duties:
• Providing direct field support and training on clinical applications to the sales organization
• Collaborating with the sales team and articulating product strategies through clinical and business approaches.
• Maintaining knowledge within the clinical aspects of Respiratory Disease and Sleep Disordered Breathing and to present strategic knowledge in a clinical fashion to both internal and external customers
• Acting as a resource to the sales and marketing teams suggesting and creating value add presentations to drive successful closure of sales engagements.
• Become subject expert on product line includes devices, interfaces, software and educational programs
• Must be able to travel 50-75% of time throughout US.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of RT experience in a Home medical equipment environment with 3 years min. hospital experience
• Must have experience in delivering education and presentations to audiences of varying sizes (one on one, small class up to conference/trade show venues)
• Must have experience in developing training and educational materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Must have the ability to create & deliver polished communications (Power Point presentations, marketing materials) in a high pressure sales environment!
• You must have the ability to maintain current knowledge within the clinical aspects of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and excellent communication skills with a HIGHLY ENERGETIC Clinical Education PERSONALITY!
Those with experience in sales, respiratory/sleep environments and educational positions are ideal!
