Engineering Technician - Oil and Gas

Exploration and Production Background

Duties and Responsibilities:


Selected individual will assist our Client company in their Oklahoma City location. Responsibilities include assisting in reserve booking, budget tracking, production reporting and economic analysis.
Candidate should be proficient in ARIES, MS Access, Powerpoint and Excel. The candidate must also have strong organizational skills and have demonstrated the ability to handle complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Candidates with science, computer science or math degrees (oil and gas knowledge) will also be considered.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of: basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide; department and

organization procedures with frequent and varied use of business, legal and technical terminology relating to the oil and gas industry (and specialized software programs).

• Skill in: using Microsoft suite of products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)

office equipment (i.e., computers, printers, telephone, fax, photocopier and calculator).

• Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing; understand and clarify oral and written

instructions; handle and maintain confidential information; exhibit high-level self-management

skills; prioritize work, perform efficiently and accurately while working on multiple projects

• Requirements: Must have a high school diploma; BS degree ispreferred, but experience in E&P is more significant value (minimum: 5-7 years)
